Mrs. Dieleman Dies at Douglas
A former Keeline resident, Mrs. W.W. Dieleman, 57, died in Douglas Sept. 26 after an illness which had confined her to a wheel chair 11 years.
Mary Eliza Thompson, who was born at Seguin, Kan., came to Keeline in 1915 at which time she filed on a homestead. From 1918 to 1920, she was employed in the Keeline store. April 4, 1918, she was married to William Dieleman. In 1938 she moved with her husband to Douglas and had resided there until her death.
Mrs. Dieleman is survived by her husband, her father, F. W. Thompson of Humbolt, Nebr.; a brother, Dr. Donald E. Thompson of Cunningham, Kan.; and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Hayes, Humbolt; Mrs. Ruth Ford, Hayes, Kans.; and Mrs. Helen Martin of Liberal, Kan. The Dielmans' two sons, Fred Walter and Allen Arthur, died in infancy.
Funeral services were conducted Sept 28 from Stark's Chapel in Douglas with Rev. R. L. Morrell officiating.
