Mrs. Emma Marsh Dies In Denver Hospital Tuesday
Mrs. Emma C. Marsh, a long time resident of Niobrara County, died in St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
The body is being shipped to Sioux City, Ia. where funeral services will be held. The date for the funeral has not been set.
Mrs. Marsh died after a six months hospitalization.
Mrs. March did private nursing in Lusk starting in about 1920. Later she founded the Lusk Hospital and was supervisor of the hospital for a number of years. The building which housed the Lusk Hospital is now the east wing of the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Marsh is survived only by one brother, Dave Scott, of Sioux City. Her only child, Richard Marsh, was recently killed in an auto accident.
