Kenneth Ivan Seegrist
Linda Kant's father dies
A former Lusk resident, Kenneth Ivan Seegrist, died March 15 in San Diego, Calif. He was 60.
Seegrist was born Aug. 28, 1917 in Whitney, Neb., and spent his early years in Lusk, leaving in 1941. In 1943 he went into the military service and was given a medical discharge in 1944. He then moved to Califurnia where in 1972 be retired from the Lockheed Aircraft Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Syble Olene Seegrist of Cottonwood. Calif.: six children, Alred, Clifford and Dennis all of California, Delores Bennett of Thermopolis, Linda Kant of Lance Creek, Kenneth Ivan of Arvada, Colo.; a brother, Elwin Seegrist, Hot Springs S.D.; an 15 grand grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Emma Seegrist of Lusk.
The funeral was March 20 in San Diego.
