Susanna Mildred Laisure Iliff

Mrs. John Iliff, 84, of Lusk, died in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital at 6:30 a.m. Saturday as a result of old age.

Funeral services wee held at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 Monday afternoon with Rev. O.F. Shroyer presiding. Mrs. Minerva Watson played the organ and Justine Watson and Mrs. A.F. DeCastro sang for the services.

Pallbearers were: Art Keller, A.C. Tibbits, Rulo Roberts, A.F. DeCastro, C.E. Marvin and Ray Raylor.

Susanna M. Laisure was born Jan. 20, 1867 in Adams County, Ind. In early life she was married to John W. Iliff. To this union were born five children, Dave, Ansel, Ocea and Pauline, all of Lusk, and one child that died in infancy. J.W. Iliff preceded here in death April 7, 1938.

In 1933 she became a member of the Church of God and had been a faithful supporter until her death.

She and her family moved to Wyoming in 1908 and had been a resident of Lusk since 1917. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, grandchildren, and a host of friends, and will be missed as a praying mother in our community.
