Funeral services for Daniel W. Dieleman, 81, were held Friday, Nov. 23, 1990, at 11 a.m. at the Converse Funeral Chapel in Douglas, Wyo., with Pastor Frank Wiederrecht of the First Baptist Church in Douglas officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Dieleman died Monday, Nov. 19, 1990, in the emergency room of the Converse County Memorial hospital in Douglas, following a brief illness.

He was born Oct. 19, 1909, in Prairie View, Kan., the son of William (Bill) and Dilly (Kipp) Dieleman. He moved to Wyoming with his parents when he was a small boy where his father homesteaded south of Keeline. He received his education in rural Keeline schools and attended high school in Lost Springs.

On June 10, 1929, he married Cora E. Bright in Douglas. They made their home on a ranch at Lost Springs where he ranched, drove a truck, and was a mail route driver. They moved to Douglas to retire in 1978. The couple joined the Presbyterian Church in Hobe Sound, Fla., in 1974. They spent the winter months in Hobe Sound for a number of years until ill health forced them to stay in Douglas.

He is survived by his wife, Cora, of Douglas; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Krivanec of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Mrs. Fern Ladwig of Douglas; one brother, John C. (Jack) Dieleman of Long Island, Kan.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and two half brothers.

Serving as pallbearers were Larry Ladwig, Stanley Ladwig, Phillip Ladwig, Clyde W. Krivanec, Jeff Krivanec and Jim Bolinger.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Wilbur F. Wright, Lloyd Bennett, Jim Smith, Bill Nuttall, Ted Pennington, and Jim Sullivan.

A memorial to the choice of the donor would be equally appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of arrangements.
