Mother of David Cook Dies Fri.
Madia Ethel Cook, 76, mother of David T. Cook of Lusk, died at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital Friday. Funeral services were held in Denver from the Fairmont Mortuary Monday morning at 10:00. Burial was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
She was born to John Sutherland and Kathryn McLean Sutherland in Michigan on April 23, 1894. She was a resident of Denver but had spent the past three months in Lusk at the home of her son.
Survivors include two sons, David of Lusk and Gerald of Bessmire, Mich.; and one daughter, Linda Cook of Denver.
