Funeral This Friday for Mrs. Albert Beardsley
Funeral service for Mrs. Albert (Veva Mae) Beardsley, 70, will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Glendo Community Church. Bryan Clark, Newcastle, will officiate. Burial will be in the Horseshoe Cemetery, Glendo. The body will lie in state at the Schrader Funeral Home in Wheatland until 9:00 a.m. Friday.
Mrs. Beardsley died Tuesday at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper after an extended illness.
Veva Mae Troyer was born August 31, 1902, in Custer County, Neb. She married Albert J. Beardsley August 1, 1923, and they lived on a ranch between Newcastle and Lusk for 40 years. They have been residents of Glendo for the past two years.
Mrs. Beardsley was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Anselmo, Neb., and a past member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Maud Troyer, Calloway, Neb., and husband; a son Deen E. Beardsley, Casper; two daughters Mrs. Bill (Judy) Kenast, Glendo, and Mrs. Denamae Kirkpatrick, Kent, Wash; three brothers, John D. Troyer, and Bert A. Troyer of Arnold, Neb., and Everett Troyer, North Platte, Neb.; one sister Mrs. Forrest Daniels, Riverton; and three grandchildren.
