Mrs. Mary Wills Dies in Cheyenne

Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne for Mrs. Mary Thomas Wills, 92, Cheyenne who died November 1. Mrs. Wills lived in Niobrara County many years.

The Reverend Donald Cooper conducted the service and burial was in the Beth El Cemetery, Cheyenne.

Mary Wills was born June 26, 1880 in Cambridge, Mass. She came to Wyoming in the summer of 1898 and was married to Charles Milton Thomas. Three children, Albert, Robert and Adeline were born to the couple. Mr. Thomas died in May of 1916 and Mrs. Thomas was married to Louis Loren Wills, September 14, 1917, at Lusk. They continued to live in Niobrara County many years. One son, William, was born to the couple.

Mrs. Wills is survived by sons, Albert of Ft. Laramie, and William of Cheyenne; five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. A son, daughter, granddaughter and great-great grandson died previously.

Mrs. Wills was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Union Pacific Old Timer's and Retired Railway Employees Club. She received a 50-year pin from Mizpah Chapter No. 36, Order of Eastern Star in 1967.
