Rosary for Robert Welch
The rosary for Robert Welch, 57, who died Aug. 14 in a Denver hospital, will be Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Peet Mortuary Chapel. The funeral mass will be Aug. 17 at St. Leo's Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m.
Welch will be buried here.

Robert Welch Services
Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated last Thursday morning at St. Leo's Catholic Church for Robert Welch who died Aug. 14. Presiding was the Rev. Bernard Bianco.
Rosary was recited at Peet Mortuary Chapel the evening of August 17.
Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hugh McLean, Robert Sides, Elmer Nelson, Sven Johnson, Linden Nelson and Bill Corbett.
Robert Lee Welch was born March 25, 1921, at Manville, Wyo., the son of Leo and Marie Welch. He died August 14, 1978, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colo.
He completed all of his schooling at Manville graduating from high school there, and he and Patricia M. Vaughan were married Aug. 30, 1940, in Rapid City, S.D. Welch worked at Lance Creek, at first for Argo Oil Co., and later for Marathon Oil Co. In 1959 the family moved to Tripoli, Libya, in North Africa. They moved to Denver in 1970 and in 1972, moved Saudia Arabia. They returned to Denver in June, 1974, and in September moved to Pakistan. He returned to Denver in April 1978, because of ill health.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter and a brother Al.
He is survived by the widow, Patricia, daughter Sharon and son Robert all of the family home in Denver; a daughter Barbara Creekmore also of Denver; and two brothers, William of Manville and Richard of Denver.
