Lee Welch Dies Sunday; Services In Lusk Today
Lee C. Welch, 62, a resident of Lance Creek for many years, died in Glendive, Mont., Sunday after a long illness. Mr. Welch had been in failing health since suffering a stroke two years ago.
Rosary services were held at the Peet Chapel at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. today at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Active pallbearers are: Fred Bertram, Earl Maxwell, Darrell Brenner, Hugh McLean, Carl Brus, and Sven Johnson. Burial will be in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mr. Welch was employed in Lance Creek for many years before going to Glendive where he was employed as a machinist. He is survived by four sons, William of Lusk, Al of Glendive, Dick V. of Salt Lake City, and Robert of Tripoli, Libya.
