Travis Lee Waldock

Funeral services for Travis Lee Waldock, 11, will be held Friday, July 5, 2002, at 1 p.m., at the Glendo Community Church in Glendo, with the Rev. Cliff Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Horseshoe Cemetery near Glendo.

Travis died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colo., from natural causes.

Travis was born Feb. 20, 1991, in Casper, Wyo., the son of Quentin Chad and Laura Elizabeth (VanBuskirk) Waldock. The family lived in Wheatland, and moved to Lusk in 1992.

He attended school at the Board of Cooperative Educational Services "BOCES" in Gillette. He had mastered sign language. He loved trains, swimming, riding in the truck with his dad, and playing outdoors.

Travis is survived by his parents of Lusk; three sisters, Ashley, Willow and Makayla, all of Lusk; paternal grandparents Richard and Charlene Waldock, of Lusk, and Allen and Jeradine Hineman, of Lusk; maternal grandmother Belinda VanBuskirk of Glendo; paternal great-grandparents Jim and Cora Waldock of Parshall, N.D., and Irene Hladky of Emmett, Kan.; Maternal great-grandparents Chuck Dowdell of Glendo and Jean VanBuskirk of Oregon; and numerous aunts, cousins, and uncles.

Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Eddie VanBuskirk; maternal great-grandfather Delbert Van Buskirk; and maternal great-grandmother Agnes Wimmer.

Serving as pallbearers will be Swede Bergdahl, Schoot VanBuskirk, Keith Griffits, Gary Wenzel, Allen Hineman and Joey Taylor.

A memorial to the Cornelia DeLange Syndrome Foundation in care of Converse Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box X, Douglas, WY, 82633, would be appreciated by the family.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 1-4 p.m., and at the church in Glendo on Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Converse Funeral Chapel in Douglas is in charge of arrangements.
