Francis Conrad "Frank" Troudt
Graveside services and inurnment for former Guernsey resident Francis Conrad "Frank" Troudt were held Oct. 8, 2003, in the Prairie Rest Cemetery at Guernsey with military rites accorded by the Lake Guernsey Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #44471.
Frank Troudt died Oct. 3, 2003, at United Medical Center-West in Cheyenne.
Frank was born Aug. 10, 1944, in Wheatland, the son of Donald Conrad and Rita Maryanne (Dolan) Troudt. He was reared and educated in Guernsey, graduating from Guernsey High School in 1962.
He joined the US Air Force and served from 1962-1966. After his discharge, he worked as a meat cutter in Denver, Colo. for a few years, then returned to Guernsey to work at the Sunrise Mine until it closed in 1980. He worked various jobs before moving to Cheyenne in 2000.
Frank enjoyed woodworking, playing in cribbage tournaments, collecting things, and people - especially kids.
He is survived by three siblings and their spouses, Susan and Ron Bristow, John and Robyn Troudt, all of Guernsey, and Gary and Anita Troudt of Lusk; six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gorman Funeral Home - Platte Chapel of Wheatland was in charge of arrangements.
