Mary Frances Graves, daughter of General and Mrs. Margaret Graves, was born at Elmo, Missouri, October 7, 1867, and passed away at Lusk, Wyoming June 6, 1941, aged 73 years, eight months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to William M. Following their marriage the young couple moved to Kansas where they resided for several years, moving to Nebraska in 1892 where they resided until 1909 when they came to Wyoming and took a homestead south of Lusk in the Royal Valley community where they resided until recent years. Following the death of her husband Mrs. Tibbitts had made her home with her children, having spent the past winter in Nebraska and had returned to Lusk to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Quigley only a few months ago.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9th at the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. M. H. Marshall in charge. A mixed chorus comprising Mrs. Edna DeCastro, Mrs. H. J. Templeton, O. P. It was her great fortune to have observed fifty-five years of wedded life with her late husband, and since his passing she devoted all her attention to her children and looking forward to the time when she might again join her mate in the land beyond.
