Helen E. Taylor

The Vigil Prayer Service for Helen E. Taylor, 66, was held Thursday, Nov. 19, 1992, at 7 p.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Lusk with Rev. Patrick Shea officiating. The funeral liturgy was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 1992, at St. Leo's Church. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Taylor died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1992, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Vincent and Julia (Betz) Lang.

She was married in Hinsdale, Mass., to Arthur F. Mottor on April 20, 1947. He died in February of 1975. To their union four children were born. She worked as a custodian at Wahconah Regional High School until she retired in October 1982. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hinsdale, Mass.

On Nov. 10, 1982, she married Ray B. Taylor of Lusk, Wyo., in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hinsdale, and they made their home in the Lusk Community.

She was an active member of the Lusk Woman's Club, the Congregational Women's Circle, and the Lusk Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #3511, of which she has been president the last six years. She was also district three senior vice president the past two years.

Besides her first husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Ray B. Taylor of Lusk; two daughters; Julia Aron of Chalemont, Mass. and Katherine Button of East Hampton, Mass.; two sons, Arthur V. Mottor and Wayne Mottor both of Hinsdale, Mass.; nine grandchildren; one sister, Julia Mesch of Sarasota, Fla.; three nieces; one stepdaughter, Carol Smith of Galatin, Tenn.; one stepson, Wayne Taylor of Laramie, Wyo. and four step-grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorials to the Lusk Senior Center or to St. Leo's Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
