Funeral for Mary Tadewald Is Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Mary Catherine Tadewald, 87, of Casper were held last Wednesday at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Lusk. She died in a Casper hospital November 24. Burial was in the family plot in the Lusk Cemetery.
Father M. J. McBrien of Douglas was in charge of the Requiem High Mass. Music was furnished by the church choir.
Casket bearers were Richard Schnorenberg, Walter Schnorenberg, Bernard Thon, Joe Pfister, Joe Maier and Nyal Siemsen.
Mrs. Tadewald homesteaded in the Van Tassell area in the early 1900's. She and William Tadewald were married June 25, 1914, and lived on the ranch until 1949 when they moved to Nebraska. Mr. Tadewald died in 1958 and Mrs. Tadewald later moved to a nursing home in Casper.
Survivors include her sons, Herbert F. Tadewald of Van Tassell and B. W. Tadewald of Casper; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Mae Walson of Coer d'Alene, Idaho.
