Patricia Ann Sturman

Patricia Ann Sturman, a former Lusk resident, died last Thursday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper. She was 44.

The daughter of John and Thelma Parrott, she was born at Marion, Ala.

Following the death of her mother, she lived with her grandparents in Birmingham, Ala. After graduating from high school, she worked for an insurance company for several years.

She married Niobrara County native, James R. Sturman on Oct. 22, 1955, in Birmingham. They moved to Lusk for one year and then lived in Gillette.

In 1959, they moved to Upton, where Mrs. Sturman was employed at American Colloid Co. until her death.

She is survived by her husband; a son, James R. of Upton; two daughters, Vicki Lynn Sturman of Casper and Carol Jean Sturman of the family home; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

A service was held Monday at Peet Mortuary, with the Rev. Frank Blish officiating.

Music was by Minerva Watson, organist, and Nancy Frederick, soloist. Songs were "In The Garden" and "Whispering Hope."

Burial followed at Lusk Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lynn Watt, Darrell Brainard, Bob Oliver, Ray Norris, Bill Riehemann and John Barker.

The family prefers contributions to Upton Ambulance Service.
