Harriett Alice Smith
Harriett Alice (Parmely) Smith, 86, of Wendell, Ida., died Monday, July 4, 1995, at Magic Valley Manor in Wendell. Harriett was born February 3, 1909, in Wessington Springs, S.D., the eldest child of Claude Isaac and Sylvia May Green Parmely.
Survivors include her husband, Avery C. Smith of Wendell; two sons, Leonard and his wife Claire Smith and family of Wendell, and Eldyn and Clara and family of Carson City, Nev.; three brothers, Everrett Parmely of Harrison, Neb., Clifford and his wife, Tillie Parmely of Manville, and Glen and his wife, Donna Parmely of Lusk; one sister, Erma and her husband, Glen Cox of St. George, Utah; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral was held Friday, July 7, 1995, at Demaray's Wendell Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Flanery and Star of the West No. 35 O.E.S. officiating. Burial was at the Wendell Cemetery.
