Leonard Seeman Dies; Service Here Monday
Funeral service was held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Peet Chapel for Leonard Seeman, 73, who died November 22 at Evanston.
The Rev. Beauferd Anderson conducted the service with "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "Beautiful Saviour" sung by Colleen Leno, Judy Hahn, Susan Hahn, Rob Akers and Bob Doctor. Mrs. Sigmund Hahn was the organist.
Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Johnson, L.T. Bonner, Martin Glandt, Pete Owens, John Goddard, Alan Sheridan, Gene Perry, Roger Bonsell, Elmer Fleming, Harry Fernau, Sr., Carl Taylor, Paul Heany, Rebel Coffey, Dick Lee and Nig Patton. Graveside service was held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosewood Cemetery in Palmyra, Neb.
Leonard Frank Seeman, son of Henry and Anna Leiage Seeman was born March 24, 1900, at Burr, Neb. He spent his first 35 years on a farm near Lincoln and Grant, Neb. He married Henrietta Anna Speth on November 24, 1925, and the family moved to Lusk in 1935 and remained in this area since that time.
Mr. Seeman was baptized into the Christian faith and confirmed into the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son Myron of Lincoln, Neb., and a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Ferris of Lusk; three brothers, Carl of Palmyra; Myron of Lincoln and Paul of DeWitt, Neb.; three sisters Laura Schroder of Grant; Elda Schroder of Eagle and Erna Schroder of Palmyra, Neb.; and six grandchildren. One brother, one sister and two other children died previously.
