Mrs. Alleine Seegrist Laid at Rest in Lusk Cemetery, Tuesday

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Alleine C. Seegrist, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 14th, from the chapel of the Peet Funeral Home, with Rev. F.C. Doctor, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical church, officiating.

Frank O. Kuhn sang as a solo, "The Old Rugged Cross" and Mesdames Ab DeCastro and Emerson Bonner sang "Beckoning Hands" with Mrs. J.P. Watson accompanying at the organ.

The remains were laid at rest beside her husband in the family plot in the Lusk Cemetery. Casketbearers were "Bill" Henritze, Lawrence Adams, Otto York, Bert Peterson, Ed Baldwin and Harry Baldwin, Jr.

Alleine Caroline Seegrist was born on March 22nd, 1919, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Hammond, at the family ranch home in the Kirtley community, where she was reared to young womanhood.

On May 22, 1937, she was united in marriage to Earl R. Seegrist, to which union was born one son, Roger.

From the time of her marriage, she and her husband and son lived on their ranch south of Van Tassell.

Since the death of her husband on March 28, 1955, Mrs. Seegrist and son, Roger, continued to operate the ranch. At the time of her demise, she had attained the age of 37 years.

Survivors include her son, Roger, a sister, Mrs. Raleigh Gagstetter of El Segundo, Calif., two brothers, John Hammond of Kirtley, Wyo., and George Hammond, Jr., of San Francisco, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earl, the latter passing away March 28, 1955.

Alleine Seegrist Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Alleine Seegrist, 37, of Van Tassell died Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:27 p.m. from a heart attack. At the time of her death she was visiting at the William Henritze home in Lusk.

Funeral services are to be held Friday, Sept. 14 at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet chapel with Rev. F. C. Doctor, Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Survivors include one son Roger of the family home; two brothers, John Hammond of Kirtley and sister, Mrs. Raleigh Gagstetter of El Segundo, Calif.

Her husband, Earl R. Seegrist, died in March, 1955 from burns received three months previous.

Funeral Services Held for Alleine Seegrist Here Fri.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel for Mrs. Alleine C. Seegrist, 37, of Van Tassell, who died September 11 from a heart attack. Rev. F. C. doctor, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Beckoning Hands" and Frank Kuhn, soloist sang "The Old Rugged Cross". Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Survivors include one son, Roger; a sister, Mrs. Raleigh Gagstetter of El Segundo, Calif.; two brothers, John of Kirley and George Hammond of San Francisco, Calif. her parents, and husband, Earl previously died.
