Edward M. Ryder
No services will be held for Edward M. Ryder, age 83, at his request. Mr. Ryder, a resident of Douglas, Wyo., died Thursday, June 9, 1994, at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyo. Cremation has taken place.
Edward was born December 20, 1910, in Lusk, Wyo., the son of Charles Alfred and Emma Barbara Mashek Ryder. He married Esther McCormick on May 30, 1932, in Hot Springs, S.D. He lived in Wyoming his entire life and was active in the Cattle Industry, farming, heavy equipment operator in the mining operation, and construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and one brother.
Edward is survived by his wife Ester McCormick Ryder of Douglas; daughter, Gloria Kay Haralson of Poway, Calif.; son, Edward Keith Ryder, of Chambers, Ariz.; brothers, Dale Ryder, of Harrison, Neb. and Charles Ryder of Gordon, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Rocky Haralson and Rance Haralson of Sidney, Mont.; Rick Haralson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Randy Haralson of Poway, Calif.; Rose Maugham and Edward Glen "Corky" Ryder of Billings, Mont.; Tammy Dennison of Blue Diamond, Nev.; and Glenda Henry of Marble Falls, Texas; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas is in charge of the arrangements.
