Funeral Service For Mrs. Otto Rasmusen Tues.
Funeral service for Mrs. Otto (Louise) Rasmusen was held Tuesday at the Peet Chapel in Lusk at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Rasmusen died in Torrington March 16.
The service was conducted by the Rev. Lonnie Johnston of the Torrington Methodist Church. Soloist, Tim Johnson sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "Holy, Holy, Holy" accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist. The Eastern Star Service was also held at the Chapel service.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Sheaman, Charles Lee, C. E. Marvin, Roy McLain, Judson Watson and Gene Wilson.
Casket bearers were Jim Willson, Dale Fullerton, Sven Johnson, Bill Nuttall, Alvin Alexander, Lloyd Tschacher, Charles Freeman and Bert Jones. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. Louise Catherine Rasmusen was born at Scotia, Nebr. March 12, 1890, the daughter of George and Lily Moore McAnulty. She married Otto M. Rasmusen February 9, 1910 at Scotia.
They came to Wyoming in 1913 settling on a homestead near Manville where they lived until moving to Torrington in 1964.
Mrs. Rasmusen was a member and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Lusk, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayflower Descendants of Wyoming and the Ft. Laramie Historical Society. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Otto, of Torrington and a nephew Keith McAnulty of Seattle. Her parents and three brothers died previously.
