Mrs. Pendray Dies In Princeton, N.J.
Mrs. G. Edward Pendray, Princeton, N.J., died October 7 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Pendray is the sister-in-law of Mrs. May Magoon, formerly of Lusk and now of Loveland, Colo. She was a partner with her husband in the industrial public relations and management firm of Pendray & Company.
Her full and active life included wife and mother as well as writer, syndicated newspaper columnist, publicist and public relation executive. She was also along with her husband a pioneer rocket experimenter and was one of the founders of the American Rocket Society which in 1963 merged with the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences to become the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Its present membership is over 50,000.
Mrs. Pendray is survived by her husband and three daughters Mrs. Barton W. Knapp, Skillman, N.J., Mrs. William Jennings, Canandaigua, N.Y., and Mrs. Chester Wertsch, Lititz, PA.
Mr. and Mrs. Pendray were frequent visitors at the ranch home of the late Jack Magoon and Mrs. Magoon.
