June Lois Terrell Fullmer
Funeral services for June Lois Terrell Fullmer, age, 73, were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church in Torrington with Rev. John Olenyik officiating. Burial followed in the Valley View Cemetery
She died on Dec. 26, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Visitation hours were held at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington on Sunday and Monday. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to either the Torrington Ambulance Service or the Masterson Place in Casper.
She was born on June 20, 1928 in Lusk, the daughter of George and Ollie (Canfield) Miller. She grew up and received her education in Lusk. She married Dale Terrell on Aug. 11, 1946 in Torrington. The couple lived in Torrington; Hay Springs, Neb., and Douglas. In 1974 they moved to Lusk where June managed the Ranger Apartments and she also worked at Safeway and the nursing home. In Hay Springs she managed a Teen Center. She also managed apartment complexes in Douglas, Lusk, and Glenrock. Mr. Terrell died in 1999. On Nov. 6, 1999 she married Robert Fullmer in Douglas and they made their home in Torrington.
June loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed many activities including camping, attending rodeos, playing cards, gambling at Deadwood, dancing and bowling. She was affiliated with the Congregational Church in Lusk; she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hay Springs, Neb. and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Lance Creek.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Torrington; a daughter Judy Phipps of Douglas; a daughter and son-in-law Jan and Floyd Kolbet of Douglas; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Jim Benson of Casper; step-daughter Sandy LaCross and her husband Robert of San Diego, Calif.; step-son Steven Fullmer and his wife Sheridan of Waco, Texas; step-son Bob Fullmer and his wife Tina of Reno, Nev.; and step-son Dean Fullmer of Rock Springs; and two sisters, Lila Stratton of Lance Creek, and Jeannie Beck and her husband Richard of Riverton; eight grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Terrell; one grandson, Kevin Kolbet; three brothers, Lloyd, Don, and Jack Miller and one sister Cleo Green.
The Colyer Funeral Home of Torrington is in charge of the arrangements.
