Dr. Carlton Adolph Paisley

Dr. C. A. Paisley Dies Here Friday.

Carlton A. Paisley, 85, passed away at the Manring Convalescent Home Friday, March 7, after being in declining health for several years.

Mr. Paisley had been a resident of Lusk for about 35 years. He and his son, Don Paisley, came to this community in 1912 from Mitchell, South Dakota. He was a veterinarian and was known to everyone as Dr. Paisley.

Funeral services were held in the Peet chapel at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, and were conducted by Rev. Lawrence P. Juell of the Congregational Church.

Miss Phyllis Johns and Miss Anita Vargason sang the two selections, "Good Night and Good Morning," and "Farther Along" with Mr. J. P. Watson as the accompanist.

Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery and the remains were carried to their final resting place by Herbert Sabin, Ralph Larson, F. W. Reed, Roy Turnbull, Ed Stigle and Ira Teter.

Among the survivors are his wife, Hattie; three sons, Donald of Node, Calvin of Lusk, and Carlton of Casper; three daughters; Mrs. Jessie Wiley of New London, Iowa; Mrs. Ruth Lamb and Gloria Paisley of Casper.

Those from out of town here for the funeral services were Mrs. Hattie Paisley, Pacific Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Jessie Wiley, New London, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Paisley and Gloria Paisley of Casper, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Updike and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Updike of Osage.
