John O'Shea
Former Resident Dies In Montana Sept. 18
Funeral services for John O'Shea, 95, longtime resident of the Broadus and Miles City area of Montana were held September 22. Mr. O'Shea died September 18 in a Rest Home where he had been in poor heath for a number of years. He lived for a number of years north of Lance Creek and left that area in the early 1930's.
Father Patrick Berther of St. David's Catholic Church of Broadus officiated at the Graves Funeral Home. Rosary was recited September 21 in the evening.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Oliver Pearson of Miles City; three granddaughters, Mrs. Rosemary Scheibel of Miles City, Mrs. Betty Phillips of Fromberg, Mont.; and Mrs. Pat Corsie, and one brother in Ireland and six great grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Bill Traub, George Lund, Bly Bartholomew, Reece Clevenger, Ray Pearson and Barney Pearson.
Burial was in the family lot of the Calvary Cemetery in Miles City.
