Millie Mable Myrup

Millie M. Myrup, 86, died Tuesday, May 19, 1987 at the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home. Services were May 23 at the Peet Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Dick officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Myrup was born Sept. 2, 1900 at Clearwater, NE, the daughter of Frank and Laura Olds. She attended schools at Clearwater.

On Dec. 4, 1916, she married Neils Christian Myrup at Oakdale, NE, where they lived for a short time before moving to Chadron, NE. They lived in Chadron for a year and then moved to the Hat Creek area. In 1943, they moved to Lusk and lived there the rest of their lives.

Mrs. Myrup worked for many years at the Coffee Cup Cafe for Esther Cook and Wanda Dreisen (Dreesen).

Survivors include two sons, Don Myrup of Lusk and Alfred Myrup of Torrington; three daughters, Matilda Parmely and Laura Alexander both of Manville, and Betty Johnson of Torrington; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Myrup was preceded in death by her parents, 11 brothers and sisters, one son, one daughter, one granddaughter, and two great grandchildren.

Memorials to the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home would be appreciated.
