Ila Ruth Arrowsmith Compton died February 19, 1999 at her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Burial was February 24 at the Littleton Cemetery, Littleton, Colorado.
She was born August 26, 1917. She married Norman Woodsen Compton in October 1936 in Denver, Colorado. They moved to Lance Creek, Wyoming in 1937 and lived there until 1954.
They retired in Denver. After the death of her husband, she moved to Tucson, Arizona where she spent her last three years.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Norman Compton and wife, Lavonne of Freedom, Wyoming. Two daughters, Connie Ann Bongard and husband, Jim of Denver, Colorado and Norma Jeanne Perrin and husband, John of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
