Juanita Rebecca Lashmett

Juanita Rebecca Lashmett, 89, died Saturday morning at her home in Manville.

She was born Sept. 12, 1895, in Manville, the daughter of E.B. and Jennie Baughn. She attended schools in Manville and later attended Music School in New Port, Nebr. After her graduation from music school she taught piano lessons.

She married Walter Lashmett in 1913 in New Port. They then made their home in Manville. The family later moved to Colorado where Walter Lashmett was employed. After his death, Juanita returned to Manville to make her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, two sons, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include: Thelma Holdren of Holly, Colo., Delma Foley of Manville, Wilma Jassman of Manville, Carl Lashmett of Manville and Rebecca Curtis of Wheatland; one sister, Tessie Valentine of Wheatland; one brother Curt Baughn of Riverton ; fourteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Juanita Rebecca Lashmett were held at Dell View Cemetery in Manville on Jan. 15. Officiating was Rev. Dan Gainer.

The active pallbearers were Larren Holdren, John Maskird, Paul Frizell, Raymond Mayham, Roger Kissier and Walter L. Lashmett.

Memorials may be made to the family.
