Mrs. Ina Larson, Here 56 Years, Dies Last Wed.

Mrs. Ralph (Ina) Larson, 77, a resident of this county since 1910 died last Wednesday at the Eventide Manor Rest Home in Cheyenne. Funeral services were held from the Peet Chapel in Lusk, Saturday 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. James E. Davis of the Lusk Congregational Church officiating. Mrs. Dale M. Bardo, organist, accompanied Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Lyle Eddy as they sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Burial was in the Lusk cemetery. Casket bearers were Paul Pfister, Joe Pfister, Ralph Sides, Leonard DeGering, Jim Boner and Pete Germann.

Ina Marcia Jewett was born in Parker, S. Dak. September 22, 1889, to Henry C. Jewett and Phoebe M. Woodward. Her childhood and school days were spent in and around Parker and Miller, S. Dak. She taught school for a short time before coming to Wyoming and homesteading east of Hat Creek.

November 6, 1915, she was married to Ralph Malter Larson of Lusk, at Harrison, Nebr. They made their home northeast of Hat Creek. They were the parents of three sons and one daughter.

In the fall of 1929, the family moved to Lusk, where she lived and sent the children to school, while Ralph operated the ranch east of Lusk. During these 22 years her door was always open to anyone needing a place to stay; and then she moved to the ranch where she resided until going to Eventide Manor Rest Home in Cheyenne February 1, 1966.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Lusk.

Her husband, parents, two sisters and one brother died previously.

She is survived by three sons, Warren R. of Pine, Colo.; Noal F. and Ralph Malter of Lusk; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Catherine) Noah of Cheyenne; one brother, Wallace E. Jewett, Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Carol Weaver, Great Falls, Mont.; Terry and Noaleen Larson of Lusk; Nancy Bryan, Laramie; Cathy and Ann Noah of Cheyenne; two step-grandchildren, Mrs. Judy Brennen and Jim Hughes, both of Illinois and two step-great grandchildren, Randy and Shawn Brennen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
