Martha B. Rogers Lamb

Graveside services for Martha B. Rogers Lamb, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; were held in Lusk, Wyo. on April 8, 1993. Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals or the Wyoming State Museum.

She died April 3, 1993 in Cheyenne. She was born May 7, 1914 in Laramie, Wyo., the daughter of Foster R. Rogers and Hazel G. Palmer. She graduated from high school in Lusk and received her certificate of teaching from Colorado Teacher's College in Greeley.

She married Vernon D. Lamb Sept. 21, 1941, in Lusk.

Lamb was a member of one of Wyoming's pioneer families. Her grandparents settled in Kirtley, Wyo., which was southeast of Lusk in the 1890's

Her husband, and her brother, Royal Rogers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sisters, Mary White of Laramie and Frances Moss of Long Beach, Calif.; her nieces and nephews, Martha Rogers and John Rogers of Cheyenne, Mack White of Gillette, Foster White of Laramie, William Moss and Richard Moss and Joseph Gatzmeyer of Long Beach, Calif. and many grand nieces and grandnephews.
