Last Rites Held For Mary Lacy

Funeral service for Mary Lacy was held the afternoon of October 4 at the United Memorial Methodist Church in Harrison with the Rev. Larry Shrout officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery.

Mrs. Bill Coffee sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond The Sunset." Mrs. Ruth Hall was organist.

Pallbearers were E. E. Whiteaker, Jim Stewart, William Powell, Bill Coffee, LaVerne Hanley and Alvin Publow. Honorary pallbearers were J. A. McClarey, Okley Edgell, Tres Powell, Bruce Parsons and Adolph Zurcher.

Out of town people here for the funeral included Mrs. Tom Stroh, Mrs. Ed Olander and Mrs. Dave Striffer all of Fort Collins, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. John C. Miller, Sundance, Wyo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller, Denver.

Mary Unitt Lacy, daughter of Charles and Clara Jane Unitt was born on July 21, 1906, at Harrison and died October 1 at Fort Collins, Colo.

She was married to Chester C. Lacy in Harrison and three children, one son and two daughters were born, all of whom survive - Kenneth of Seattle, Wash., Barbara Jane Lacy of Harrison and Julieann Miller of Fort Collins, Colo.  Also surviving are two sisters, Lola Wasserburger of Edgemont, S.D. and Helen Marsteller of Harrison; five grandchildren, Kim Marie Lacy, Julieanne Lacy, Kristin Sue Lacy all of Seattle, Douglas Alan Miller and Jeffrey Scott Miller both of Fort Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by two brothers; Wayne Unitt and Phil Unitt.
