Funeral services for Charlls L. Larson were held Monday Nov. 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Bader Funeral Home in Lusk.
Charlls L. Larson was born Sept. 21, 1904, at her parents' home north of Lusk. She died November 24, 1995 at the Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home in Lusk at the age of 91.
She attended country schools and graduated from Lusk High School in 1924. She then attended the University of Wyoming for two years and taught school in Niobrara County.
In 1929, she married Warren C. Larson of Node and to this union three children were born. They lived on various ranches in Niobrara and Converse Counties. They moved to Lusk in 1952 when Charlls was employed by the city clerk. For 20 years she baby sat many children in the community.
Charlls loved gardening, flowers, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was "Gram Charlee" to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers Bill and Jack Magoon and a daughter Joann Larson.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Jim and Jack, daughter in law Kathy, grandson Dean Larson and wife Valerie, granddaughters Lori Knaub and husband Marty, Jodee Smith and husband Bruce, Kristy Reeb and husband Ray; six grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, and many relatives and friends.
Memorials to the Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bader Funeral Home of Lusk.
