Services for former Lusk resident Darvin D. Krein, 36, were held Friday at Peet Mortuary with Rev. Mark Lohr officiating.
Mr. Krein was born March 17, 1952, in Tuttle, N.D., the son of Gust and Alma Krein. He was the seventh of 12 children. In 1963 his family moved to Lusk where he finished public schooling, graduating from high school in 1970. In 1984 he moved to Cresson, Texas, where he was employed by the Deihl Construction Co. until the time of his death on July 11, 1988.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
Survivors include three sons, Alan, Michael and Darrin all of Lusk; one daughter Carrie of Lusk; his mother, Alma Krein of Lusk; five brothers, Gary of Canyon City, Colorado, Larry of Riverton, Darold of Mobridge, S. D., and Johnny and Dwight, both of Lusk; five sisters, Leola Merrell of Torrington, Lila Owren of Adingdon, MD., Wanda Brown of Bagdad, Ariz., and Karen Jassman and Kathy Wedemeyer, both of Lusk, and numerous relatives and friends.
Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery.
