Linda Marie Gunn Kaser

Funeral services for Linda Marie Gunn Kaser, age 32, will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 1997, at the First Baptist Church in Lusk with Reverend Delbert Dick and Linda's father-in-law, Reverend Max Kaser officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Linda died Thursday, September 25, 1997, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born October 22, 1964, in Lusk, Wyoming to Dale R. and Donna Gunn. Her early life was spent on the family ranch north of Lusk. She attended the rural Fairview School and Lusk schools, graduating with honors in 1983. Linda loved music and participated in the music and drama programs. She was a member of the National Honor Society and she served on the student council and also as president of her class. Linda was proud to represent her school as a cheerleader, and she especially enjoyed teaching and encouraging the younger cheerleaders. Following high school, Linda attended the University of Wyoming. She was accepted into the University of Utah's physical therapy program, where she served as president of her class. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1990.

On January 4, 1986, while still in college, Linda married her high school sweetheart Charles Kaser. She was a devoted mother of their two children, Alex Gunn (four) and Anna Leigh (one).

Linda will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She was proud of her accomplishments as a physical therapist at the University of Utah Rehabilitation Services. The woman we were all blessed to love and know had great compassion for all people and she looked for the truth and honesty in everyone.

Linda found comfort in her Lord, her family, and the hills near the ranch home she grew up in.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Survivors include: her husband Charles and her two children of Salt Lake City; her parents, Dale and Donna Gunn of Lusk; her sisters, Rhonda Holdbrook of Glenrock, WY, Shelly Krein, Tammy Bonsell and Carmen Boussu all of Lusk; her parents-in-law, Zoda and Jerry Furgason of Hanna, WY, and Max and Juanita Kaser of Kalispell, MT; a sister-in-law, Ada Dischner and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
