Charley Allen, 83, dies in Washington
Charley Allen, 83, of Bremerton, Wash., and a former homesteader of the Royal Valley community, died at his home, December 26. He was the father of Orval Allen, a rancher southeast of Lusk.
Funeral services were held at Neligh, Nebr., December 30, and burial was at Clearwater, Nebr.
Survivors include his widow of Bremerton, four sons, Gerald of Grand Island, Nebr., Verle of Lake Andes, S. Dak., Orval of Lusk and Burton of Everett, Wash., one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Baker of California; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Anna died previously.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen have visited here several times since moving to Washington.
