Frances Hanson

Frances Myra Foley Hanson was born in Anselmo, Nebr. Oct. 12, 1910. She died June 5, 1984 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper at the age of 73.

She received her teaching degree in York, Nebr. in 1931. She taught for a short time in Arnold, Nebr.

On Feb. 20, 1932, she married Willis C. Kilmer in North Platte, Nebr. They were the parents of two children, Bill of Riverton and Kay DeGering of Lusk.

They moved to Lusk in 1935 where they were in business with his brothers until the time of his death in 1952.

Frances and Ralph E. Hanson were married Sept. 15, 1953.

She was employed by Lyon's Department store in Lusk for many years until she and Mr. Hanson Moved to Saratoga where they lived until his death in 1978. She then returned to her present home in Lusk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Ed Foley of Powell, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were at Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk Friday June 8 with Rev. Roy Howell officiating. Music was provided by Jane Bardo, organist and Joy Kaltenheuser sang "He Touched Me" and "He Shall Feed His Flock."

Pallbearers were Ernest Hales, Leonard DeGering, Don Whiteaker, Everett Kilmer, Herb Hanson, Ron Shoults and Dan Jordan.

Interment was at Lusk Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Senior Citizens Center or American Heart Association.

Arrangements were by Peet Mortuary.
