Memorial services for Richard A. Woodington, Jr., 41, were held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at the Manville Community Church with Pastor Jason Playle officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Richard died Nov. 14, 2005 as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born Aug. 17, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Richard A. Woodington, Sr. and Bobbe Rae (Kauffman) Woodington.

The family moved to Denver, Colo., when Richard was 2-years-old. He attended school in Denver. After school, Richard met and married Dawn Marie Whorley. To this marriage was born Samantha and Tim.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie of Manville; daughter Samantha; and two sons, Tim and Taj of Lusk; brother Jamie of San Bernardino, Calif.; sister Stefanie and husband Antonio Cruz of Northglenn, Colo; nephew Eli Gonzales of Northglenn, Colo. He also left behind his fiancé, Regena Prather.

Preceding him in death were his father Richard, Sr. on Oct. 5, 2003, and his wife Dawn on Oct. 24, 2004.

Richard's favorite hobbies were rock climbing and fishing. He loved to garden and barbecue.
