Vera Gibson

Vera (Mrs. Kenneth Gibson), a former resident of Lusk, died at her home in Escondido, Calif., Sept. 30.

Vera Dolores Gibson was born April 23, 1917, the daughter of Frank B. O'Conner, formerly of Morrill, Nebr., and Florence C. Grimm, long-time resident of Lusk. Vera married Kenneth Gibson November 13, 1937, in Harrisburg. They lived for 28 years in the Lusk and Igloo, S. D. areas prior to moving to Escondido.

Memorial service was this Monday at Peet Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Frank Blish officiating.

Minerva Watson was organist and Mark Lohr sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery. Memorial services were also held in Escondido.

Memorials may be sent to the Heart Fund.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughters, Kay D. Gibson and Ann E. Boozer, a son-in-law, Joe Boozer, two grandchildren, Jeff and Randy Boozer, all of Escondido, and her brother Frank W. O'Conner of Albuquerque, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.
