Jesse L. Gerlach Dies Last Week

Jesse L. Gerlach, early resident of Harrison died at the Goshen County Hospital in Torrington last Wednesday after short illness. He had been employed as assistant cashier at the Citizens National Bank since 1947.

Funeral services were conducted at the Colyer Chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lamar Speier. Burial and graveside rites were held at Harrison at 2:30 p.m.

Jesse Lewis Gerlach was born Aug. 8, 1895 at Harrison, Neb., the son of Mary Kreitzburg and Lewis Gerlach. He married Grace Anderson April 7, 1925 at Greeley, Colo. The family moved to Torrington from Scottsbluff in 1947.

He was a veteran of World War I a member of Travis Snow Post No. 5, American Legion; Post No. 2918 VFW, Masonic Lodge No. 29 and the Lions Club.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Grace at home, include a daughter, Mrs. Otis McCoy, Casper and a sister, Mrs. Elmus Corbin, Mitchell.
