Neil Adams Grant

Funeral services for Neil Adams Grant, age 76, were held Monday, October 9, 1995, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Rev. Delbert Dick officiating. Burial followed at the Jireh Cemetery.

Mr. Grant died Friday, October 6, 1995, at the Niobrara County Nursing Home in Lusk. He was born July 9, 1919, in Jireh, the son of George H. and Delia A. Grant. Neil graduated from Manville High School.

Mr. Grant's first job was with Fred Kettler's garage at $1.00 per week plus room and board.

He later drove truck, did construction work and oilfield work along with ranching and farming.

He married Dorothea Briscoe on October 2, 1943, and they later divorced. He married Naomi Jackson on February 19, 1967. She preceded him in death on December 21, 1992.

Survivors include one son, Larry Grant of Casper, one daughter, Cheryl Grant of Cheyenne; three sisters, Frances Nichols of Molina, Colo., Claudia Dalton of Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Germann of Node; plus numerous nephews and nieces.

Bader Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
