Conrad "Connie" Frosheiser

Conrad Frosheiser, age 89, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996 at West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody.

He was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Lincoln, Nebr., the son of Alexander and Katherina Drieth Frosheiser. He married Marie C. Mauch on June 11, 1938, in Keeline, Wyo.

Mr. and Mrs. Frosheiser moved from Lusk to Cody in 1942. He operated Yellowstone Electric for more than forty years until his retirement in 1973. His mechanical abilities left virtually nothing he couldn't repair. Connie loved to fish on Buffalo Bill Reservoir, west of Cody. He enjoyed watching and participating in the stock market.

Mr. Frosheiser is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Florida, a son and his wife, Terry and Alice Frosheiser of Cody; three sisters, Marie Kerhonen and Katherine McKinnis of Torrington, and Elizabeth Lingwood of Winter Springs, Fla.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Stacie and Michael Brault and Jennifer and Roger Templin; and two great grandsons, Rob and Dilon Templin. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Alexander, George and Fred Frosheiser; two sisters, Amelia Kahn and Wilhelmina Frosheiser; and a granddaughter, Michelle Lee Florida. Funeral services for Mr. Frosheiser were held Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Ballard Funeral Home, followed by the interment in the Riverside Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Association in Mr. Frosheiser's memory.
