Imogene "Jean" Robinson, age 78, passed away at West Park Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 27. She was born on Sept. 11, 1927 in Van Tassel, Wyo., to Ralph and Frances (Van Blarcum) Berg.
She married Charles C. (Sonny) Robinson on Dec. 4, 1943. They homesteaded on Heart Mountain in 1946 and raised their two sons on this homestead. She worked at Frost Curio, Cody Corral and the Chuckwagon. She and her husband moved to the Sleeper Ranch in 1978 and he continues to work for the Hoodoo Ranch.
She was a member of the Irma Flats Mother's Club for many years. She loved going to the Cody Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her husband Sonny Robinson; son Clinton Robinson and wife Pat; sisters Gerry Tollman; Violet Karnes, Clarabelle Payne and husband Bud; brother Gordon Berg and wife Betty; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Norman Robinson and grandsons Mike Nielson and Matthew Thomson.
Memorial services were held Nov. 1 at the Cody Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, Cody, Wyo.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Cody Senior Citizens Center.
Ballard Funeral Home of Cody, Wyo., was in charge of arrangements.
