Mrs. Dunkin Dies In Douglas Sun.
Mrs. Anna Elizabeth (Fisher) Dunkin, 87, mother of Mrs. Ted Eberspecher of Lusk, died Sunday at the Converse Memorial Hospital in Douglas. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church of Harrison Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. J. Lee Gorman officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin Koch, organist, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Gorman as they sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Casket bearers were Leslie DeKay, Patrick Corbin, Jess Locker, George Schaefer, Jewel Buckley and Ivol Buckley.
Anna Elizabeth Fisher was born to William and Elizabeth Fisher, September 11, 1882, at Verdon, Nebr. She received her education in Verdon.
She was married to Ralph Edward Dunkin December, 14, 1904. In 1906 the couple moved to Sioux County, Nebr., and homesteaded 14 miles southeast of Harrison.
Mrs. Dunkin had been living at the Michael Manor Home in Douglas since last August. Prior to that time she had spent five years in Lusk with her daughter, Mrs. Eberspecher.
Her husband and one daughter died previously.
Survivors include one son, Elmer Lynn Dunkin, Salt Lake City, Utah; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Leona) Clevenger, Kailua, Hawaii; Mrs. James (Hazel) Carriott, Casper, and Mrs. Ted (Rachel) Eberspecher of Lusk; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
All of the four children of Mrs. Dunkin were here for the service.
