Amy C. Graham Fahy

Funeral services for Amy C. Graham Fahy, 94, were held Monday, Feb. 7 at the United Presbyterian Church in Guernsey, Wyo., with Reverend Judith Cuthbertson officiating. Interment was in the Prairie Rest Cemetery near Guernsey, Wyo., with graveside rites by the Order of Eastern Star Alvada Chapter No. 43. Mrs. Fahy died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyo.

Amy was born Aug. 5, 1905 in Voca, Texas, the daughter of William Samuel and Mary Catherine "Molly" (Covington) Schooley. She moved to the Guernsey-Sunrise area in 1907 with her family and was reared and educated in Sunrise, graduating from Sunrise High School. Amy attended and graduated from the University of Wyoming, receiving a degree in education.

She was married June 15, 1928 at Wheatland to Lloyd Everett Tucker and he died July 8, 1932. Amy was married the second time on Feb. 20, 1942 at Gering, Neb., to Sidney Graham and he died July 25, 1957. Amy was married the third time on Sept. 18, 1972 at Douglas to Willis Francis Fahy and he died August 28, 1993. Amy taught school for 42 years in the Guernsey and Sunrise area schools and retired in 1970. She was a lifetime member of Order of Eastern Star, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and attended the United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed dancing very much.

Mrs. Fahy is survived by a stepson, Willis L. Fahy of Guernsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers and sisters; and her three husbands.

Serving as pallbearers were Hugo Lenz, Harold Rexius, Joe Hohnholt, Bill H. Foy, Jim Sisson and Bill Briner.

Memorials to the Guernsey Senior Citizens Center, 100 South Wyoming Ave., Guernsey, Wy. 82214 would be appreciated by the family.

Platte Funeral Chapel of Wheatland was in charge of arrangements.
