Funeral services for Dorene Darrow, 80, were held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Worden Chapel with the Rev. Mick Bohn of Foursquare Church officiating. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.

She died Feb 4, 2000 at Weston County Health Services.

She was born Dec. 7, 1919 at St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Phillip and Hazel (Street) Collins. She attended school through the 11th grade.

She married Lloyd Darrow on Feb. 23, 1938 at Lusk.

They lived and ranched at Dewey, S. D. until October 1979 when they moved to Newcastle.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Leone Robison and her husband of Newcastle; a granddaughter; a half-brother DuWayne McGee of Lusk; a sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established to Lifeline of Weston County.
