Juvenile held for Dillon murder
A juvenile is being held in connection with the murder of former Lusk resident Calvin Dillon.
The body of the 84-year-old Glenrock man was discovered hidden in rural Converse County on March 9 after being reported missing March 1. His 1979 Ford Courier pickup which had also been missing was found March 12 in the garage of an unoccupied residence in Rolling Hills in Douglas. The pickup had been the object of a nation-wide search and was located while deputies were conducting a building by building search of vacant or abandoned buildings in western Converse County.
The State Crime Lab was notified when the vehicle was discovered and tested for fingerprints and substances. Converse County Attorney Tom Burley could not comment on the age or the sex of the juvenile being held because of Wyoming's laws protecting juveniles.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Converse County Sheriff's Office at 358-4700. Persons wanting to remain anonymous may call CRIMESTOPPERS in Douglas at 358-4000, or Glenrock at 436-9000.
