L. Metilda (sp) Criss
Memorial service for Metilda (sp) Criss, long-time Lusk resident, will be conducted during the regular Sunday morning worship at the Congregational Church here August 1. The Rev. Frank Blish will officiate at the 10 a.m. service. Mrs. Criss, 91, died at the Chadron hospital Sunday, July 18.
L. Metilda (sp) Criss was born November 18, 1891, in Wausa, Neb., to Sol and Clara Ritts. On November 18, 1909, she and Earl M. Criss were married. An active member of the community here, Mrs. Criss was a member of the Congregational Church for 50 years and a member of the Eastern Star and P. E. O. Chapter I.
She is survived by a daughter Winnifred Crinklaw of Pampa, Tex., six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
