Frank Detwiler Laid to Rest Last Thursday
Frank L. Detwiler, who passed away last Monday, was laid to rest in the Lusk Cemetery last Thursday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Midwest Funeral Home, with Rev. B.F. Farrer officiating.
Mr. Detwiler had attained the age the age of 77 years, 4 months and 9 days. He suffered from a paralytic stroke the week preceding his death. He was born in Minersville, Pa., on February 1, 1858 and living in that vicinity for many years following his birth, He had been a resident of Lusk for the past few years.
Pallbearers were Jerry Shrove, D.F. Paisley , Louis Bates, Mr. Shank, A.E. Johnson and Frank Wise. Music was furnished
by Mrs. B. F. Farrer, Mrs. Edna DeCastro, Mrs. William Eiis, and Mrs. Perlinfine, who rendered"Rock of Ages," "Nearer My God to Thee," and "Have Thine Own Way, Lord." They were accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson on the piano.
Midwest Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
