Lewis Magnusson
Sad indeed was the news brought to town last Thursday evening of the death of Lewis Magnusson living about 20 miles southwest of Lusk. Deceased had not been feeling well for a week previous to his death last Thursday morning and at 7 o'clock he gave up his life to He who had given it. The cause of death was an attack of pneumonia which carried the deceased suddenly, but apparently easily away, indications showing that he suffered but very little. To say the least, the news occasioned a shock of surprise and sorrow for he was greatly respected by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held in the Congregational church on Saturday by Rev. Glassner of Harrison, after which the remains were taken to the Lusk graveyard and lowered into the tomb to await the resurrection morn.
Mr. Magnusson was a young man of 35 years, unmarried, and was but in the prime of life at his death.
