Death Claims Another Victim

Last night at about 12 o'clock at the ripe old age of 82 years, Merrill J. Sanders departed this life, the prime cause being kidney disease, which had given him trouble for some time. Although being well advanced in years, deceased was herding sheep at the time of his death and would probably have lived several years longer had not this peculiar disease taken him off.

Last summer he felt as though he might be taken away rather suddenly and made his will. Mr. Sanders was an old resident here and respected by all who knew him. Thoroughly honest, kind  hearted and true, Grandpa Sanders leaves a  host of friends to mourn his sudden departure. Rest, Grandpa, rest in peace.
